The COO will be a key member of the Class Action Education team, reporting directly to the CEO and Founder.

A COO with experience of managing operations and procedures is needed to oversee the organisation's operations.
In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of business operations. You'll also possess excellent people skills, a strong business sense, and exemplary work ethics.
In the role of COO, you'll drive extensive and sustainable growth of an EdTech start-up that will launch in early 2023.
Responsibilities
Work with the CEO to set the vision and implement the overall strategy, including setting long-term goals, achieving profitability, and building company value.
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.
Develop a comprehensive growth and performance plan.
Create policies that promote the company's culture and vision.
Manage the daily operations of the company and the work of the executive team (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.).
Encourage maximum performance and dedication from employees.
Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
Assist CEO in fundraising ventures.
Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
Attract, retain, and develop world-class talent.
Cultivate a high-performing, agile, one-team culture.
Manage vendor/partner relationships.
Requirements and skills
A proven track record of success as a COO or other relevant role.
Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities.
Exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
Have a solid understanding of HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
Experience in data analysis, performance measurement, and forecasting.
Work closely across multiple departments to ensure policies and procedures are implemented properly.
Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.
Proven track record of building successful digital products and high calibre teams from the ground up.
Experience of managing corporate partner relationships.
A huge plus if you have experience in EdTech or media content.
Digital/Start Up background essential.
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
Package
£75,000-£110,000 depending on experience plus equity/shares.
